Since beginning our RV journey we have driven 20,120 miles and have visited all stated in the southern half of the US.
2019 was a fun and interesting year. It started and ended with trips to a zoo. Our first adventure of the year was visiting the Birmingham Zoo and our last adventure was to Zoo Atlanta. Our adventures continued as we celebrated Mardi Gras in New Orleans. After that our plans took a drastic change when we decided to trade in our truck, fifth wheel and Harley for a new motorhome. We spent a month in the Florida Keys volunteering at the Dolphin Research Center. After spending time cleaning out our storage unit, we headed to Red Bay AL, where we spent the summer (not by choice). We made the best of it and had a great time seeing the sites, drinking free Margaritas on Tuesdays and organizing potlucks. After that we drank our way through the Bourbon Trail and Nelson 151 Trail. Visited Graceland and the Biltmore. We saw Pentatonix and Lindsey Stirling in concert to get us ready for Christmas and on Christmas Eve had fun in Christmastown USA.
